Proud to see EcoC2S represented at the 14th Symposium on River, Coastal and Estuarine Morphodynamics (RCEM 2025) held earlier this month in Barcelona. Two consortium members contributed:
Prof. Maurizio Brocchini (Università Politecnica delle Marche) — “Sediment transport in the microtidal Misa River estuary.”
Marcus Silva-Santana (University of Granada) — “Assessment of the intermittency of river mouths using cloud-enabled Earth observation analysis.”
Both talks highlight our shared focus on process-based understanding and data-driven approaches for river mouths and coastal systems.
Congratulations to Maurizio and Marcus, and thanks to the RCEM community and organizers.
